The Bulgarian capital Sofia will also take part in the 6th year of the literary happening Literature Night , which will simultaneously take place in a number of cities in Europe. The Czech Centre decided to join this unique initiative and enable the Bulgarian public to learn about the newly translated books at the public reading. Some other foreigner cultural institutions will attend the event, which will take place on the 15th of May. Thus in one evening top Bulgarian artists will introduce works of current European writers translated into Bulgarian at attractive places of Sofia. A special brochure will list details about the presented authors and their books and a map will show the places, where visitors can listen to literature presentations as well as collect stamps for the accompanying competition, which has interesting books for winners. An after party of all participants will be held in the Czech Centre after the event.
