The Literature Night is organised by EUNIC (the European Union National Institutes for Culture), London. European writers are shortlisted by the knowledgeable public, and institutions will read extracts from their works and discuss their books, their inspirations, and the wider literary context of their countries with the presenter Rosie Goldsmith. The event is a part of European Literature Night Network, the platform for the presentation of the European literature in the UK. Among the shortlisted authors of this already 4th year of Literature Night are also Michal Ajvaz with his book Zlatý věk (Golden Age) and Radka Denemarková with her book called Peníze od Hitlera (Money from Hitler).
