Löwendal Foundation

The European Literature Night in Bucharest will take place in a single location in 2012: the premises of the Löwendal Foundation. It is a 100 year old mansion, built in neo-Romanian style by renowned architect Petre Antonescu and located in central Bucharest, in one of the oldest and greenest neighbourhoods. Lectures and performances will take place in several rooms and in the garden. The Löwendal Foundation works to promote the artistic heritage of George Löwendal and to support and advance Romanian contemporary art.
