LITERATURE NIGHT 2011 - 13 May 2011

Even in the year 2011 The Czech Centre in Warszawa will be joining the international „Literature Night“ on 13 May 2011 with the event, held in conjunction with the Polish PEN Club and the Warszaw University. From 11:30 to 13:00 we will be organizing an author meeting for students with the chairman od the Czech PEN Club Jiří Dědeček and the writer Petr Šabach (in February 2011 the Arena Publishing House has edited his first book in Polish – „Hovno hoří“). From 16:00 the event will continue in the seat of the Polish PEN Club and „Literatka“ restaurant under the title „Culture = a Czech remedy for depression“. Participation has been confirmed by Petr Šabach and Jiří Dědeček, the representatives od the Polish publishing houses editing Czech books, translators od the Czech literature, Polish writers and poets.
