Czech Centre Tel Aviv is part of the Czech Centres-an organization funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. Our mission is to develop a dialogue with the public abroad and to actively promote an image of the Czech Republic as a modern dynamic country.

Czech Centre in Tel Aviv is the youngest of all centres, it has been established in May 2010 with an opening of the exhibition Jews in Battle and Resistance in the presence of the former minister of foreign affairs of the Czech Republic, Jan Kohout. In a short time we have managed to become a part of the foreign cultural institutes active in this country and have been cooperated closely with our partner institutions. Czech Centre Tel Aviv focuses on several areas of presentation of the Czech culture such as film, theatre, fine art, literature, tourism and others

Lenka Procházková: Lamb

Translation:

The apocryphal novel Lamb about Jesus from Nazareth is a story of freedom, love and taking responsibility for our temporal world. Although set in the deep past, it is in fact a story of our own time.
