LITERATURE NIGHT 2011 - 11 May 2011 at 7 pm

The Czech Centre in Berlin has decided to join this year´s event of the Literature Night outside the German metropolis, namely in the smallest federal state of Germany – in Bremen. There is traditionally a great interest in the Czech culture and especially literature in this city. We will offer the Bremen audience A Night of the Czech Detective Stories, providing a possibility to meet two contemporary authors personally and to look into their actual literary works. The reading will be complemented by a theatrical performance within the reading from the third literary work.

A Night of the Czech Detective Stories will be held not only on the occasion of the Prague project of the Czech Centres Literature Night, but also during the Bremen European Week 2011 and in the framework of a Month of the Czech literature in Bremen, organized by the Czech Centre in Berlin.
