The House of the EU

This year’s Viennese Literature (EUNIC project) night entitled Literature Chill Out takes place in the premises of the house of the EU (Wipplingerstraße 35,1010 Vienna). It was officially opened on September 16, 2009 and even though it is still very young, from the beginning it brings people all generations together in a common dialog. The employees of the house of the EU are trying to “build a bridge” between the European Commission, citizens and institutions and to consolidate the feeling of common european bonds. The public, and not only the Austrian, is invited to discussions, lectures, open days. The EUNIC Vienna cluster was promised their cooperation for this year’s Literature Night - not only providing us with a space and publicity but also with refreshments for the young audience.
