Harlekynovi miliony is the last part of the so called Nymburk trilogy which depicts Hrabal’s family as a part of which we see a charming mother, a slightly eccentric father and uncle Pepin. We meet them in their old age deprived from their former joys and concerns alike. Touched, we follow them in an entirely different world into which they retired.
