Judith's Tower

The older of the two towers which form the entrance to Charles Bridge on the left bank of river Vltava is associated with the construction of the former so called Judith bridge from the second half of the 12th century. Ledebour Garden

A charming baroque garden of the Ledebour palace is situated under the Prague Castle and bears the name after count Adolf from Ledebour who joined the palace in 1852. The building which used to be connected by a corridor with the oratory of St. Thomas’ church in the 17th century was bought by Prince Fridrich Oettingen-Wallerstein in 1841. The Faculty building built by the Jesuite order in the 17th century derives its title from professors who were the highest ranked members of the brotherhood. The basement of the present quarters of the Mathematical and Physical department of Charles University where we invite you today had been hiding a golden treasure of the newly created state after the formation of the Czechoslovak Republic. Michna Palace

Early baroque Michna Palace bears the name after Pavel Michna from Vacinov who let the palace be reconstructed to its present form in 1623. In 1921 the palace was moved under the administration of Czechoslovakian Sokol society and today Tyrsuv house is a part of the whole complex. The gallery of Artevide Foundation established in 2008 is a unique project worldwide. Art production by blind artists is produced in a licensed “Čečov Method”.
