This year’s fourteenth Day of Czech Literature will take place under the auspices of the Czech Center in Moscow. A very significant part of this project was dedicated to a translating competition between students of Czech studies from Russian universities who were asked to translate a chapter Šedá zóna from a book by Jiří Dědeček and from Snídaně se psem (published by TORST, 2008).

12.5. in the presence of the author - writer, composer, folk singer, translator and present president of Czech PEN club, in terms of the Literature night in the Museum and Civic Centre of Andrej Sacharov, read  the winning translations as well as other examples from the production of Jiří Dědeček.
